Pyrus Serotina Callus Extract is an extract obtained by transferring constituents from the source material.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen; manage shine caused by sebum and the condition of the scalp and skin; and reduce friction on the skin or hair while adding a smooth feel.[1] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for soft, neat conditioning; attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain hydration; and leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[1] It is used to help protect the skin from external factors.[1]
