About Pvp/Va/Vinyl Propionate Copolymer
PVP/VA/Vinyl Propionate Copolymer is a polymer of vinylpyrrolidone, vinyl acetate, and vinyl propionate monomers.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, form a thin film on the skin, hair, or nail surface after application, and hold the desired hairstyle in place. It is also used to control the viscosity and flow of the formulation.[2] [2]
