About Pvp/Va/Itaconic Acid Copolymer

Pvp/Va/Itaconic Acid Copolymer is a polymer of vinylpyrrolidone, vinyl acetate, and itaconic acid monomers.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help formula ingredients bind together to maintain their form, and form a thin film on the skin, hair, or nail surface after application.[2] It is also used to hold the desired hair shape in place and adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
