About Potassium Peanutate

Potassium Peanutate is the potassium salt of fatty acids obtained from peanut oil.[1] Because Potassium Peanutate has a structure with parts that are attracted to both water and oil, its cleansing power, foam, and feel may vary depending on the use concentration and the surfactants used with it. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities be washed away with water and to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
