About Potassium Macadamiate

Potassium Macadamiate is an ingredient in the salt form created by pairing an acid and a base.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to create emulsions in which water and oil are uniformly mixed.[1] It is also used to increase the amount of foam and help prevent it from collapsing easily.[1]
