Potassium Laureth Phosphate is the potassium salt of a mixture of phosphate esters of ethoxylated lauryl alcohols with an average degree of ethoxylation of 1–3.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
