Potassium Fructoborate is a potassium salt obtained from the reaction of boric acid and fructose.[1] Its solubility and charge state vary depending on the components forming the salt and the acidity of the formulation, which also affects how it interacts with other ingredients. In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[3] It cannot be used in cosmetics in Europe.[2]
