About Potassium Carrageenan
Potassium Carrageenan is the potassium salt of carrageenan.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help formulation ingredients bind together and maintain their shape, prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and form a thin film on the skin, hair, or nail surface after application.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2]
