About Polyvinylalcohol Carbazate
Polyvinylalcohol Carbazate is a polymer consisting of long chains of repeating units.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formulation ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen, help smooth and condition hair by reducing tangling and a rough feel, and protect the skin from external factors.[1] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth and to attract moisture to the formulation and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[1]
