About Polyurethane-62
Polyurethane-62 is a copolymer made from hexamethylene diisocyanate, PEG-200, Methyl Gluceth-10, and Trideceth-6 monomers, with its ends substituted by fatty alcohols containing 16–20 carbon atoms.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help ingredients in a formula bind together and maintain its form, and to adjust the formula's viscosity and flow.[2]
