About Polyurethane-61

Polyurethane-61 is a complex polymer obtained by reacting saturated methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, dimethylol propionic acid, bisphenol A bis-(2-hydroxypropyl) ether, and a polyester polyol derived from isophthalic acid/1,6-hexanediol/adipic acid to form a prepolymer, dispersing it in water containing triethylamine, and extending the chains with ethylenediamine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave the nails feeling smooth and flexible.[2]
