About Polyurethane-60
Polyurethane-60 is a complex polymer formed by first reacting saturated methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, dimethylaminopropylamine, isopropylidene diphenoxypropanol, and dimethyl carbonate-1,6-hexanediol to form a prepolymer, then dispersing it in an aqueous solution containing dimethylethanolamine and extending the chains with ethylenediamine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave nails smooth and flexible.[2]
