About Polyurethane-33

Polyurethane-33 is a complex polymer produced when methylene dicyclohexyl diisocyanate reacts with a polyester composed of adipic acid, hexylene glycol, and neopentyl glycol, and with dimethylol propionic acid, to form a prepolymer.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help ingredients in a formula bind together and maintain its form.[2] The prepolymer is neutralized with triethylamine and then chain-extended with hydrazine.[1]
