Polyurethane-15 is a copolymer of isophorone diisocyanate, adipic acid, triethylene glycol, and dimethylol propanoic acid.[1] Its molecular weight, degree of cross-linking, and concentration may affect the formulation’s viscosity and the thickness and flexibility of the film formed after drying. In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[2]
