About Polysorbate 65

Polysorbate 65 is a mixture of sorbitan and sorbitol stearate esters, consisting mainly of triesters, condensed with approximately 20 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
