About Polysilicone-6

Polysilicone-6 is a polymer obtained by reacting dimethylsiloxane and methyl 3-mercaptopropyl siloxane with isobutyl methacrylate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application and to reduce tangling and roughness in hair and leave it feeling smooth.[2]
