About Polysilicone-15
Polysilicone-15 is a siloxane polymer.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation and reduce the amount that reaches the skin.[4] In Korea, it may be used at up to 10% in finished cosmetic products.[2] In Europe, when used as a UV-filtering ingredient, it is permitted up to 10%.[3]
