Polygonum Multiflorum Root Water is an aqueous solution obtained by steam-distilling the roots of Polygonum Multiflorum.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add taste and fragrance to lip or oral-care products, prevent the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming overly prominent, and add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[2] It is also used to leave the skin's surface soft and smooth.[2]
