About Polyglyceryl-25/Caprolactone
Polyglyceryl-25/Caprolactone is an individual ingredient used in cosmetics.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to buffer the formula so its acidity does not change rapidly, to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[1] It is also used to smooth hair by reducing tangling and rough feel, to dissolve other raw materials and create a uniform formula, and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
