About Polyglyceryl-20 Lauryl Ether
Polyglyceryl-20 Lauryl Ether is an ether in which two carbon parts are linked by oxygen.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and keep water-and-oil emulsions from separating easily.[1] It is also used to increase the amount of foam and help prevent it from collapsing easily, keep the formula's state and properties from changing easily during storage, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
