Polyglyceryl-15 Diisostearate is a diester of a glycerin polymer containing 15 glycerin units and isostearic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, to reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother grooming, and to reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
