About Polyester-26
Polyester-26 is a polymer obtained from the reaction of adipic acid, neopentyl glycol, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and fumaric acid.[1] Its molecular weight, degree of crosslinking, and concentration in the formula may affect the formula's viscosity and the thickness and flexibility of the film formed after drying. In cosmetics, it is used to help formula ingredients bind together and maintain their shape.[2]
