About Polyester-10
Polyester-10 is a polymer obtained through the condensation reaction of hexanediol, neopentyl glycol, adipic acid, and pyromellitic dianhydride.[1] The viscosity of the formulation and the thickness and flexibility of the film formed after drying may vary depending on the molecular weight and degree of cross-linking of Polyester-10, as well as its concentration in the formula. In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[2]
