About Polyamide-6
Polyamide-6 is a polymer obtained by condensing PEG/PPG-9/4 aminopropyl ether, terminally substituted propionic acid, dioleic acid, 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, and polypropylene glycol diamine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, and adjust the viscosity and flow of formulas.[2]
