About Polyacrylate-52
Polyacrylate-52 is a polymer with long chains of repeating units.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce tangling and roughness for smoother hair and to hold the desired hairstyle in place.[1] In Europe, the maximum level is 2.5% in leave-on products, while no separate maximum concentration is set for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
