Polyacrylate-25 is a copolymer of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, stearyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate, and butyl methacrylate modified with hydrogen peroxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the skin, hair, and nail surfaces after application, and to hold the desired hairstyle in place.[2]
