Polyacrylate-2 Crosspolymer is a copolymer of trimethylolpropane PEG-15 triacrylate crosslinked with one or more monomers selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, or their simple esters, together with PEG/PPG-23/6 dimethicone citraconate and C10-30 alkyl PEG-25 methacrylate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application and to hold the desired hair shape in place.[2]
