Polyacrylate-1 is a copolymer of one or more simple esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid, C1-4 dialkylamino C1-6 alkyl methacrylate, PEG-20-25 C10-30 alkyl ether methacrylate, and ethylene glycol-crosslinked hydroxy C2-6 alkyl methacrylate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application, and to reduce hair tangling and rough texture for smoother manageability.[2]
