About Poly(Dimer Grapeseed Oil)
Poly(Dimer Grapeseed Oil) is a polymer of grapeseed oil.[1] Because its primary components are fatty substances derived from grapeseed oil, it mixes more readily with oils than with water. It is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while helping reduce the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application; to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth; and to help protect the skin from external factors.[2] It is also used to adjust a formulation's viscosity and flow.[2]
