Pna-12 Carboxyethyl Fluorene is a modified polymer of PNA containing 14 nucleobases consisting of adenine, aminoethoxymethylpyrrolopyrimidinone, aminohexylguanine, aminopentylaminoadenine, cytosine, guanine, and thymine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to provide a temporary tightening-like astringent sensation on the skin or scalp, attract moisture to the formulation and skin’s surface to help maintain hydration, and leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
