About Plukenetia Huayllabambana Seed Oil
Plukenetia Huayllabambana Seed Oil is an oil containing the lipids obtained from the seeds.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty components obtained from Plukenetia Huayllabambana seeds, it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to condition the skin’s surface to feel soft and smooth, reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and reduce tangling and roughness in hair for soft, smooth conditioning.[1] It is also used to attract moisture to the formula and skin’s surface and help maintain a moisturized feel.[1]
