About Pinus Sylvestris Twig Leaf Oil

Pinus Sylvestris Twig Leaf Oil is an oil primarily composed of lipophilic components.[1] Volatile components obtained from the leaves of Pinus sylvestris twigs contribute to the initial impression of the scent and the lingering scent after application, tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary plant oils, and are easier to spread without interruption during application when evenly mixed into the oil phase, often leaving a supple feel after drying. In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of an ingredient.[1] In Korea, oils and extracts from leaves and twigs cannot be used in cosmetics when their peroxide value exceeds 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
