About Pinus Sylvestris Cone Extract
Pinus Sylvestris Cone Extract is an ingredient extracted from the cones of Pinus Sylvestris.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of an ingredient from becoming too noticeable and to add fragrance to a product or adjust the characteristic odor of an ingredient.[4] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it corresponds to an oil or extract from leaves and twigs with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
