About Pinus Sylvestris Bud Extract
Pinus Sylvestris Bud Extract is an ingredient extracted from the buds of Scots pine.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to a product or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials and to leave the skin or hair feeling fresh.[4] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it falls under oils or extracts from leaves and twigs with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
