About Pinus Species Twig Leaf Oil

Pinus Species Twig Leaf Oil is an oil centered on oil-soluble components.[1] Volatile components obtained from Pinus species leaves contribute to the initial impression of the scent and the dry-down after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary plant oils. In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[1] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it is an oil or extract of leaves and twigs with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
