About Piceatannol

Piceatannol is an organic compound with a resorcinol structure in which two hydroxyl groups are attached to a benzene ring.[1] The oxidative stability of finished products containing Piceatannol is affected not only by the use level but also by the other ingredients used with it, the packaging method, and storage conditions involving exposure to light and air. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients through reactions with oxygen.[2]
