About Persea Gratissima Wax
Persea Gratissima Wax is the semisolid fraction of avocado oil.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty constituents obtained from avocado wax, it mixes more readily with oil than water and is suitable for adding slip and a flexible feel to skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
