About Pei-14 PEG-10/PPG-7 Copolymer

Pei-14 PEG-10/PPG-7 Copolymer is a block copolymer composed through the interaction of PEI-14 with an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide and 17 moles of propylene oxide.[1] The number 10 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formulation's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
