About PEG/PPG-15/15 Acetate

PEG/PPG-15/15 Acetate is an ester of a block copolymer obtained from the interaction of 15 moles of ethylene oxide and 15 moles of propylene oxide, and acetic acid.[1] The number 15 after PPG indicates the average number of linked propylene oxide units; this number and the type of fatty component attached to it affect how well it mixes with oils and the application feel. In cosmetics, it is used to dissolve other raw materials and create a uniform formula.[2]
