PEG/Poly(1,2-Butanediol)-52/32 Dimethyl Ether is a copolymer produced through interaction between 52 moles of ethylene oxide and 32 moles of butylene oxide capped with dimethyl ether groups.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
