About PEG-8 Raspberriate
PEG-8 Raspberriate is a polyethylene glycol ester of fatty acids obtained from raspberry seed oil.[1] The number 8 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; for the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended.[2]
