About PEG-7 Olivate

PEG-7 Olivate is the polyethylene glycol ester of fatty acids derived from olive oil.[1] The number 7 indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added; with the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
