About PEG-6 Dioleate
PEG-6 Dioleate is the polyethylene glycol diester of oleic acid.[1] The number 6 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; with the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended.[2]
