About PEG-35 Almond Glycerides

PEG-35 Almond Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of the mono- and diglycerides of almond oil containing an average of 35 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] The number 35 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; for the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, they are used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
