About PEG-3 Rapeseed Aminopropylamine
PEG-3 Rapeseed Aminopropylamine is a polyethylene glycol amine in which R is an alkyl group derived from rapeseed oil and x+y+z averages 3.[1] The number 3 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that can cause hair strands to lift or stick together, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
