PEG-3 Dirosinate is a polyethylene glycol diester derived from rosin; it is derived from rosin acid and n is an average of 3.[1] The number 3 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula.
