About PEG-3 Dirosinate

PEG-3 Dirosinate is a polyethylene glycol diester derived from rosin; it is derived from rosin acid and n is an average of 3.[1] The number 3 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula. In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
