About PEG-26-PPG-30 Phosphate

PEG-26-PPG-30 Phosphate is a copolymer of polyoxypropylene and polyoxyethylene terminated with polyphosphoric acid.[1] The number 26 in the name represents the average number of ethylene oxide units added; within the same basic structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water and to help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2]
