About PEG-20 Tallow Amine

PEG-20 Tallow Amine is a polyethylene glycol amine in which R is an alkyl group derived from tallow; the number 20 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units. Within the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that can cause hair strands to lift or stick together.[2]
