About PEG-20-PPG-10 Glyceryl Stearate
PEG-20-PPG-10 Glyceryl Stearate is a polyoxyethylene, polyoxypropylene ether of Glyceryl Stearate to which an average of 20 moles of ethylene oxide and an average of 10 moles of propylene oxide have been added.[1] The number 20 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; for the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
