About PEG-20 Cocamide Mea

PEG-20 Cocamide MEA is a polyethylene glycol derivative of Cocamide MEA to which an average of 20 moles of ethylene oxide has been added.[1] The number 20 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added; for the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the formula's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended.[2]
